Our Saltmarshe Holiday Park Manager Fred caught up with a lovely resident of our holiday park – Mrs Debbie Wheeler. Please continue reading for a little piece which she wrote for us!
Saltmarshe Castle Park is our favourite place ever, such a lovely place to be. We have such stunning views everywhere around us. I get to go on beautiful walks with a small group of residents; we get to see so much of the surrounding areas. Anyone is invited to accompany us on these walks. The more the merrier.
We have a lovely shop, where you can purchase your essentials. And also have a spot of breakfast or lunch. Also we have the lovely restaurant where you can also have breakfast. Plus the restaurant offers evening meals and Sunday carvery. Then we have the bar and function room which offers Bingo and weekly entertainment on a Saturday evening.
Then we have the residential side which are beautiful new homes, which also have lovely views. Although it’s still a work in progress, I believe that it only improves on what Saltmarshe already has to offer.
We also have the local shuttle service, which runs three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. You can travel down to Bromyard and catch a connecting bus to Hereford, Leominster and Worcester also other areas.
All in all, Saltmarshe makes a great place to be. My husband and I came here in 2017, and we have never looked back”.

Saltmarshe Castle Holiday Park
This astonishing park, extended along 67 acres of land, has been created in the grounds of Saltmarshe Castle, a former country house built in the 1840s.
