Crouch Park charity fundraiser Dianne Woodley has been busy again with her Shoebox Appeal quest on behalf of the Samaritan’s Purse Charity. Assisted by fellow residents Max Bacon, Wendy Camden-Smith and Mo Brotherwood, Dianne has been hard at work buying and packing, pencil cases, soap, toys and sewing kits to fill for ophan children this Christmas.
Wyldecrest Parks is happy once again to support this worthy cause and have made a donation to the appeal. Dianne said: ”We are filling 50 boxes with all kinds of games, musical instruments, balls and hairbrushes. All the girls will get a doll and the boys will get a construction kit. War and famine have taken away the ability of many children to enjoy play so we hope this will encourage them“.
Previously, The Samaritan’s Purse have distributed Shoeboxes to needy children in Kenya and Romania.
