Wyldecrest Parks has just completed the acquisition of 6 residential parks, which means that the company is officially the largest park operator in the UK with 57 mobile parks!
Founded in 2001, Wyldecrest Parks now owns 51 residential parks aimed for the over 50’s, retired and semi-retired people looking to downsize and release equity; and 6 holiday parks that cater for the whole family, offering both holiday homes for sale and family holidays/short breaks.
The business is the only ISO 9001 accredited within its industry sector and is also the only with a nationwide coverage in 24 counties across England, Scotland and Wales. Alfie Best, the company’s Chairman, says: “I’m thrilled with this achievement; we’ve been working really hard to accomplish a number of goals and landmarks we established and they’re all finally taking shape. Now we want to be a fully European business within 3 years and an international company in 5 years’ time”. Alongside with its expansion strategy for the near future, the company also plans to grow to 3 times its current size within the next 15 years.
Now with its value increased to around £230 million, the company has actually registered a remarkable growth in the past couple of years by acquiring more than 30% of its current nationwide portfolio and strongly invested on its parks’ development.
Remember that Wyldecrest Parks has recently announced, it will also be responsible for bringing to England the 2018 World Fly Casting Championship, which will take place on one of the company’s holiday parks – Port Haverigg Marina Village, in Millom, Cumbria.
Five of the six latest additions to the Wyldecrest portfolio are located in Dorset, while the other one is situated in Hampshire.
