The deal for Wyldecrest Parks to include six new residential sites in the company’s nationwide portfolio is now on the move and the acquisition, when confirmed, will pave the way for Wyldecrest to officially become the largest park home operator in the UK.
The business, which celebrated its 15th anniversary last year, owns at the moment 51 residential and holiday parks. Wyldecrest Parks started in 2001 when Alfie Best decided to buy his very first mobile home park – Lakeview Residential Park in Essex – investing into something that he feels as second nature – caravans. The business was the first one within its industry to become ISO 9001 accredited and it is as well the only park home operator that has a nationwide coverage in 23 counties across England, Scotland and Wales. In October 2015, Wyldecrest Parks has also won the 2015 LondonlovesExcellence Retail & Property Business Award and its Chairman Alfie Best was shortlisted for the Entrepreneur of the Year category.
